Engineering & Design Services

Acceleron offers electron beam engineering and CAD/CAM design assistance, as well as welded parts testing and evaluation. Customers are encouraged to consult with Acceleron technical service personnel in the early stages of any electron beam welded or laser processed part design. Company personnel can often assist in developing a cost-effective production process, without sacrificing part or assembly integrity.

All material is 316 S/S. Filter body is .060 thick with electron beam drilled .004 dia. holes on .012 centers. Rings are machined and electron beam welded, then laser trimmed to final dimension. Number of holes drilled: 3,500,000.

Combining extensive design and process engineering experience, Acceleron has developed tooling and fixturing innovations that significantly expand our assembly and production services. From medical devices to aerospace components and traditional assemblies, Acceleron can provide the support that customers need to manufacture finished products and sub-assemblies.

Our machining department utilizes modern cutting, turning and grinding machines, enabling us to manufacture, modify or rework customer fixtures or piece parts, as required. As an added service to our customers, Acceleron's engineering and research and development teams work together to design, build and test all special tooling required to complete your job.

Our services include prototype and high-volume production with absolute repeatability, along with Hermetic, Pressure, Bubble and Electronic Testing, as required. Full documentation and inspection reports are supplied.
