Acceleron Inc. is a well-established and innovative leader in electron beam welding in search of experienced welders to join our team. Our operation, already the largest of its kind in the nation with 48 employees, is growing. We have 15 electron beam machines in a variety of sizes and power capacities up to 25KW. Seven of our machines are CNC controlled up to 8 axis and well maintained by our internal maintenance dept. We have recently created a unique learning center for employee development, educational co-ops and community outreach.
The R&D veterans we are seeking must possess advanced electron beam welding skills; including weld development from concept to finished product, advanced blueprint reading, math skills, understanding of weld specifications, ability to work directly with customers and engineers in the areas of joint design recommendations, weld sequence processing, tooling concepts and have a high standard for quality workmanship.
Additional consideration will be given to those who have CNC programming experience, mentored and trained junior welders, and/or have experience with 5S and lean manufacturing concepts.
